What is Florida special accessible room?
This option on rooms comes up when you want to search for accessible rooms when booking online at the WDW website.

"This room is equipped with toilet grab bars, an open bed frame and lower toilet height. A portable raised toilet seat is available upon request.

This room is equipped with a wheelchair accessible route in room, and toilet and shower grab bars."

That is what it says on the WDW website.

I also googled it and found a DVC owner site that said MS say the room is a little bigger for ECV's and WC storage. Not sure about this last part myself though.

I'm not sure what it is either and I think they're still tweaking the descriptions of the accessible rooms and features. The accessible rooms with roll in showers ARE larger, but the larger space is taken up by the bathroom with less space in the room itself. I know in the value rooms they have replaced the larger round table/chairs in those rooms with one that is more oval and as such, allows more space for a w/c or ECV to maneuver and for the Guest to get right under the table. As far as the rooms though, they're all the same as there's no way to make one larger than another- only to rearrange the interior space.

I noticed that the accessible rooms I've gotten so far, I could wheel my chair between the door and the connecting door, but if I wanted to get into the bathroom or the connecting room, I needed to not have the feet attached to the chair. It was really nice to be able to use the roll-in shower and sink, and the rails were fairly sturdy in the rooms we've had so far.
