Florida Universtity Hospital

How far is the Florida University Hospital from DisneyWorld? Is there an emergency room? The google maps says its about 50 minutes from DW, is that right?

I'm not sure of the distance but what I AM sure of is my suggestion you stay far away from Celebration Health.

I was taken there in 2004. Frightening ER and was assigned a physician (one of those call-in types) who didn't even participate with BC/BS. We called him Dr. Creepy and he charged me $650 for a 5 minute visit.

I have never heard of "Florida University Hospital". Actually I have also never heard of "Florida University". There is a "Florida University System", which includes Florida State University, University of Central Florida, University of South Florida, etc/.

There as a large company called "Florida Hospital System" which runs multiple hospitals as well as the "Centra Care" urgent care centers.

FHS runs the Celebration Hospital as well as another hospital in Kissimmee, two in Orlando and about 11 other hospitals in the surrounding area.
