Last week we came down from Alabama taking Florida Turnpike south. I was wondering why nobody was using the number 1 lane to pass the slow cars and trucks. I soon found out.
There was so many blown out tires there it was hardly drive able, even for passing. We nearly hit one head on. Unfortunately the car behind us did and had to stop.

Has anybody else had this experience?

I have never seen a situation where there was closely spaced debris on the road, mile after mile in just one lane, so even drivers who did not travel that route frequently would see a piece of debris and then another piece of debris before they could venture into that lane.

????

The #1 lane is the right lane. You should pass on the left.
Perhaps everyone was in a perfect conga line in the left lane with piece after piece of debris passing by on the right, enough to tame even the most aggressive left lane hog hater.
