For those of you headed to the Fort from up north, good news.

People coming down I-75 and picking up the Turnpike to go to WDW can now order a Florida Sunpass through the mail (that part is new) so you don't have to stop to pay tolls. The mini-transponder is what I have and it costs $5 but you get a $5 rebate on your toll balance so it is essentially free.

Here is the link - you also have to have some money in your account balance to pay for tolls: https://www.sunpass.com/selectAcceptAgreementPurchaseTransponder

For me to go down I-75 to Wildwood and get on the turnpike, go down to Highway 429/Western Beltway and come into Disney by Coronado Springs (very easy if you are towing) it is only $6 for 3 axles (my Suburban and my pop-up). Here is a toll calculator https://www.sunpass.com/helpfulTollCalculator

Using the pass saves you a little bit over using cash. But the benefit for me is not having to come to a complete stop at the toll plaza.

Don't know how new this is to be able to get one through the mail. I got mine over a year ago by calling a Florida Publix. But it's very nice to have.

We bought ours at a CVS in St. Augustine a few years ago.

Love having it!

Will love it better when we finally get to use it enough to pay for it.
