Florida Sun + 1 Day 11 MGM and Fantasmic

Decided today to go back to MGM, now Im still not keen on RnR or TOT but I have told Vicki I will do one or the other with her,RnR coaster would be my choice, but I tell her it is her choice completly, but I would prefer RnR, but of course if she wants me to do TOT then I will, but I would prefer RnR coaster,lol, so you get the idea of which one I would prefer then!!!. Well surpise surprise Vicki chooses RnR coaster, all by herself that was, with no pressure from Mum whatsoever, yeah right lol.

So with my stomach in my throat I gingerly join the queue for RnR coaster, after picking up 2 fastpasses for TOT so that Vicki can ride it twice when we get off. The queue is fairly long and Im hoping that by the time we get to the front that I wont chicken out. Well I get there, get on, grip onto my shoulder bar thing for dear life and scream all the way around. Did I enjoy it?? You bet I did. "Oh great mum do you want to do it again", Vicki says with glee. No thank you, not today lol.

Vicki trots off to use the 2 fastpasses on TOT while I catch my breath and have a little walk around.

We then head over to our favorite place The Writers Stop and pick up some of our favorite cookies. We then do Muppets, backlot tour, who wants to be a millionaire and the great movie ride, we pop into the Sci-Fi just to use the loos but have a quick peep at the layout, it looks really good fun.

We now try and stake out a good spot for the Stars in their Motorcars parade, which was fantastic. We spend a bit of time walking around the park and going on all the rides all over again, before having Dinner at the ABC, very nice.

We cant believe where the time has gone today and before long it is time for us to go and get seats for Fantasmic, a good hour before the show begins. Now I know everybody raves about this, and whilst it is very good, I cant say that I love it, its ok and I love the part when the boat comes around with the characters, but im just not overly keen on the rest of it.

Got back to the hotel just after 10, exhuasted, we had a great day and fell asleep almost immedtaly.

Fell asleep dreaming of riding in my own car in the stars in the cars parade.zzzzzz

A great day at MGM Studios Sue, your photos of the Stars & their Cars parade are lovely. I'm with you on the Fantasmic show, we saw it years ago and I watched it through the camcorder as I was taping it and we've never been back, and like you said the best part is at the end when the boats come out with the characters on

Another great day Sue. Given a choice I would rather ride RNR than TOT. We love Fantasmic it is our favourite ~ Easily must have seen it over a dozen times

Sounds like a great day, you were very brave to go on RnR!! I loved Fantasmic the first couple of times I saw it but when I saw it last year I wasnt that fussed, there was too much animation on the water and I found it a bit boring!
