What types of benefits do you get a disney for being a florida resident?? We are moving to FL in a few months!

You get discounts on 4 day hopper tickets called PLAY 4 PASSES . They come out certain times of the year, sometimes only once, and sometimes twice. They are out again this year and good through sometime in November. ***if you get the enter a zip code screen when you click the link, just use mine 32563***

You get discounts on most resorts, you can watch MOUSESAVERS for those codes depending on when you'll be visiting.

And

You get discounts on dining with the DISNEY DINING EXPERIENCE . It costs about $75 and you get discounts on meals and alcohol for up to six in your party. This discount is 20%.

Actually, the best deal is the Florida Resident Seasonal Pass -- a year of WDW (with black out dates) for the price of about three days at Disney.

As far as resorts are concerned, I think Fla residents get the same deals as AP holders. If you are a Fla resident and an AP holder, I believe there is a small additional discount. The deals used to be a little sweeter in the "old days".

Sometimes you might get a slightly better rate if you are a Florida resident AND a Disney VISA cardholder. I think (and correct me if I'm wrong) there's also a pass that allows admission to Epcot after 4pm for about $79 for the year?

Play4Days pass is absolutely the best deal!! Basically a 4day hopper for about the price of 2 days.

I agree that the play4days is a good deal. It can also be converted, at full face value, for an AP or seasonal pass (good from the time of first use of the p4d). The Epcot Fla resident after 4 pass is now $110.75.
