I just called in and was able to obtain reservations using the Florida Resident's Rate Discount.

The agent, although I can't mention their name, was exceptionally wonderful. I was compelled to leave an extremely positive comment on their feedback line. Aside from outstanding service, she saved me a load of $'s.

The rates are basically identical to the AP rates. I don't think I'm supposed to post them, but I think you can just call in.

Good luck all! Happy hunting...

For what time frame? My sister is a FL resident & looking for something in mid-June.

Thanks.

Thanks.

These are the indentical dates as the AP rates released yesterday, continuing through to 8/5/07 I believe.

She should be covered in June, but she'll need to call in ASAP. I had to work a few combinations with my excellent rep before we found availability.

Good luck!

I just saw them at Disney's website under Florida residents. Mods for $ 144.00 July 1 thru Aug 4. When I called the CM didn't know anything. She told me she just had enough til June 2. I told her where I saw them and she kept checking and said " wow finally something" and she told me yep. At this time those were the only ones coming up mods. Nothing for the other resorts. She told me the phones were already ringing like crazy. And it was going to only get worse.

Thanks for the confirmation. What I did later was go to the Disney site where you did and made a Florida Resident reservation request. When you follow through selecting your dates, you are brought to a screen where the EPCOT Deluxe resorts are listed. The rates reflected will be the discounted rate if they have rooms available for the given time frame.

I think it worked out to a little over $120 total savings per night per room off rack rate plus tax.

So no June dates? That sucks. Thank you anyway!! And yay for those that can use the discounts!

I think they do have rates for June. It's just that June is regular season for Deluxe and value begins July 5th. If you go to Disney reservations and go to "Florida Residents", click on the special they show for moderates. All of the prices for the EPCOT Deluxe resorts will pull up, too.

Go to their site and try it. Let us know.

You should be able to knock off about $120 on rack and about $70 off AAA.

Good luck!

They only deal they have for my dates are OKW or SSR villas. Even discounted they are still way out of our price range. And when I click on the moderates deal it won't let me put in my dates, only dates on or past 7/1/07. If you know another way, please let me know, I need something for 6/18-6/23:confused3

Darn, I see...The dates begin 7/1 and won't let you change them. Usually you get something that matches the AP rates. Sorry about that.

I hope something works out.

I just called to try and get the florida res.rate on my week at CBR in July and the cast memeber rattled off every moderate resort EXCEPT CBR!!:sad1:
I just wish I could figure out how they do things...of course he said "they just send us memos" & that he didn't know any more of any other offerings!
Good Luck to all others. Jennifer

Do you have AAA? I saved on my August trip!:cool1:

I've used the Fla residents rates for the past few summers to stay in deluxe resorts. I think the value season for deluxe begins 8/4. I have the first 2 weeks of August off from work, but I had planned to start my week as Disney on 8/5. Does anyone know when the rates for that period might be posted?

I've stayed at the Beach Club and Wilderness Lodge using these rates; have any other deluxes ever been offfered?

Thanks for all the good information and advice we recieve on these boards...

Have fun!

I just tried several dates from the Florida Resident link..the mods are being offered at $144 as advertised, but the deluxes appear to be priced at rack rate...they offered SS Studio for $275 and Poly for $325.....

Weve tried all the Mods and would really like to try a deluxe this year...but I just cant justify paying rack rates.
