I am a Florida Resident.

My family is coming to WDW with me they do not live in FL.

Can i purchase there tickets?
Can i purchase at least there childrens tickets?

They would have to give their FL photo ID.

I guess there may be a way to get by with getting the children's tickets, but I couldn't do it.

I thought I read somewhere that you can buy three tickets at a discount price if you are a FL resident? I could have read it wrong of course.

If the adults do not have a florida licensed or proof of residency , then no. As far as the children, if they have your last name, I suppose you might be able to but you would have to pretend they are your children. The rules are only residents and their children.

What counts as a FL ID? I go to school in FL, but since I live in the dorms I'm still technically a GA citizen. Would my school ID suffice?

I dont want to do anything wrong or unjustly, just didnt know if as Florida Residents we were "allowed" to purchase for others.

As far as the children, even my own children dont have my ast name so i dont think that woud be a way to identify your own children.........just sayin';)

I don't think they will question children's tickets if an adult who is a florida resident is with them- they don't have to have an idea. Tecnically the children who aren't Florida residents wouldn't get resident tickets but no one will bulk at you buying them. The adults do have to have an id to go with the ticket.

Valid Proof of Florida Residency

All Florida Resident tickets, including Magic Your Way Tickets and Florida Resident Seasonal, Annual, and Premium Annual Passes, require valid proof of Florida Residency per adult at the time of purchase, certificate redemption and /or use at the Theme Park or Water Park.

Children under the age of 18 are not required to provide proof of Florida residency provided they are accompanied by an adult with valid proof of Florida residency.

Additional Information:
*
Florida Resident tickets are only available to actual Florida Residents and cannot be purchased for out-of-state family or friends.
*
An adult Florida Resident may purchase Florida Resident media for more than one Florida Resident from any location that provides an exchange certificate and not an actual ticket.
*
Children under the age of 18 are not required to provide proof of Florida residency if they are accompanied by an adult with valid proof of Florida residency
*
If the Guest has an exchange certificate, a valid form of Florida ID will be required when the exchange certificate is redeemed for the actual pass
*
One ticket only per valid proof of Florida residence (a Florida resident may buy tickets for minors in the party)

Exchange Certificates may say:
*
"After sale..., may not be transferred except as a gift." This means that the certificate may be given as a gift, so long as the recipient meets the defined Florida residency criteria.
*
"Purchase and redemption of this exchange certificate requires proof of Florida Residency."

-- The following items are the only documents accepted as proof of Florida Residency:

* Valid Florida State Drivers License
* Valid Florida State issued ID Card with Florida Address
* Valid Florida Voter’s Registration Card with the Guest's name and address with corresponding photo ID

If you're bringing kids with you from out of state, might as well say they're yours instead of the other family. I did this a few years ago when I looked 17, and they never asked for an ID or some kind of birth certificate. Of course, they did on the ones who were purchasing them.. but not me :)

1) All adults must show ID for valid Florida discount tickets.
2) Grandparents are allowed to buy under-18 child Florida discount tickets.
