Florida resident silver annual pass questions

Would like to purchase 4 silver annual passes on payment plan.

This would be a Christmas gift for my family.

I would like to purchase this summer (as Im working a part time job to help cover the cost)

Can I go ahead and purchase the passes and not activate them until January 2018? I figured if I buy now- I will beat any price increase. Is this doable?

Another question- If I buy two outright and put two on payments, next year when/if I renew can I put all 4 on a payment plan at that time or will I have to pay outright for the two renewals?

1) yes. Your year won't start until you activate the passes at wdw in person

Thanks- I thought so about number 1 but wasn't sure about number 2. I would like to just buy two outright this year but wanted to make sure that I could switch to a payment plan if I renewed.

I believe it'll allow you to choose the option prior to the renewal process. But if anything you can call and they can easily do the payment plan for them all

When I first got my AP I was told if I did a payment plan the pass would start the day of first payment, and If I payed for it in full it would start the day I activate my pass so you might want to conform this is not still the case before you go this way since you do not want to start to use it until next year.

You can do the monthly payment plan online and the pass won't start until you activate it at a ticket booth or GR.

Someone told you wrong info. Monthly plans are the same and aren't activated until your there in person

I chatted with someone today and it confirms that the pass starts the first day of use not at purchase. You can also put down a larger down payment, if you purchase in person.
