Florida Resident Seasonal Pass Question

The past couple of years I think WDW has allowed season pass holders back into the parks before the black-out date ended. Does anyone recall when they let folks back in last year?

they did that several years ago (and i think it was only for animal kingdom,) but as far as i know they have not let us back early the last 2 years.. sorry I could not be of much help

they've actually done it in '05 and '04. I can't remember actual dates, but it was about three weeks early, and was good for all four parks.

I have a note in my Disney log (I keep everything!) that I got a postcard on 7/25/05 that the FL Seasonal blackout dates were lifted for the rest of the summer until the Christmas holiday, so it must have been around that date...it was weird because we had FL AP's (with no blackout dates) for 2005, but the year before we did have the seasonal passes so I guess we were still on that mailing list too

The last 2 years Seasonals could come to the parks again somewhere in late july, and it was for all 4 parks!!Doesn't mean they'll do this again this year, but I hope so!!!

2004: Reduced summer blockout date from August 19 to July 30

2005: Reduced summer blockout date from August 18 to July 22

With schools going back earlier and earlier there is a good chance that they will do it again. We will just have to wait and see.
