Florida Resident Disney Dinning?

Does anyone know how the Florida Resident Disney Dinning works? Do you just get a flat rate of 20% off? and you only pay $89 for it?

Yes, the Disney Dining Experience membership gives you 20% off at all the participating restaurants. Here is the most inclusive information I have been able to find. I have had the card since December, and have saved far more than the $50 I paid for it! It includes free valet parking at the resorts which I like! I saved on two meals at Cape May Cafe and valet parking at a one night get away at the Beach Club last night!

DISNEY'S DINING EXPERIENCE is a dining discount program for eligible Florida residents and annual passholders 21 and older good for 20 percent off food and beverage at a number of Walt Disney World Resort hotel and theme park restaurants and lounges. (Prior to 2005, the DDE, as it is commonly called, was only open to Florida residents.)

1. Members receive a 20% discount on all food and beverage (including alcohol) for up to 10 people at participating table-service Disney restaurants.[/font]​

4. Complimentary parking at a theme park for a short period for the sole purpose of dining. You'll have to pay parking at the toll booth, then after dining, present receipt and parking ticket at Guest Relations for a refund.

WDW-DINE (407-939-3463) will book priority seatings for guests who are members of Disney's Dining Experience.

Theme park admission is required when dining in Theme Park restaurants.

Certain restrictions apply during holidays and special events, please check with the restaurant when you make your reservation. Blackout dates include major holidays: Mother's Day, Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years' Eve, New Years' Day.

The good thing about it is that it includes alcohol. The discounts add up fast. We used it a few years ago at Victoria & Alberts, where our total dinner bill was a little over $400 for DW and I. The discount on that meal paid for the card. Definitely worth it in my opinion.
