Yes, this is my problem. We usually go in Sept when blackout dates are not in effect but we wanted to take advantage of the great summer prices on the resorts so we're left to buying tickets ourselves. Which is the better deal? A park hopper pass, annual pass or the park hopper plus? We are thinking of taking on a water park this time (since it's summer!) but we may only use 2 regular days of parks and we like the ability to "hop" from park to park rather than spend an entire day at one.
Here is the breakdown as I see it:
4 day park hopper - use 2 days, others don't expire, park "hop", add the price of a water park
6 day park hopper plus - use more days probably, others don't expire, park "hop", water park included but it's $100 more!
annual pass - about the same price as above but doesn't include water park and would have a lot of days to use and would expire in one year.
We usually only go for 3 nites once or twice a year as is the case for this August. Therefore unused days would eventually be used but not necessarily within the one year mark. Anybody have any suggestions for me? Maybe we'd be better off changing our dates?
