Florida resident annual power pass?

I have the Florida resident annual power pass the one with blackout dates. Does this pass still entitle me to get AP discount at Universal hotels?

No hotel discounts with the Power pass, you will need preferred Pass at least to get discounts

power Pass poes not give you much on savings link here

Wow has that changed, because we have always gotton a power pass and at times in the past used it to get a discount on hotels and halloween horror tickets. We are also florida residents which is usually the same discount for the hotels.
