Up until a few years ago the annual passes (for Florida Residents) could be purchased online and picked up at the 'Will Call Kiosk' - The ticket machines in the parks.

This was then changed so these passes had to be picked up at a window counter, along with showing ID, etc.

I see when trying to make a purchase now it shows as 'Will Call Kiosk'.

Has anyone purchased one of these lately (not as a resident), and had any problems collecting it from the machine and using it ?

The last time I purchased one of these was a 'Season Pass' which was several years ago now.

Thanks in advance,

Daniel

If you are not a FL resident, you should have no problems whatsoever picking the passes up and going directly to the gate. If you are a resident, you will need to show proof of residency before getting the pass.

Using the kiosks are quick and easy. All you need is the confirmation number you are given and the credit card used for the transaction.

My query (which I didn't make clear) was why the need for ID if you can collect from the machine (which presumably doesn't need any Florida ID) ?

Thanks

Do you mean buying a resident pass while NOT being a resident? And using the kiosk because it won't ask for ID?

I think the resident rate is tied into the information you give during check out online. If your information does not tie it to a FL address, you will not be able to purchase for the FL resident rate. And I think you have to show ID when you activate it at the gate...not sure though...I've had my AP since 2004. Back then you had to go to Guest Services, fill out the application, have your picture taken (they don't do that anymore) and then you were given your pass. It's much easier now.

Yes. It used to be possible with their 'Season Passes', but then they stopped allowing collection from the kiosk for these cheaper passes. It seems they have started allowing you to collect again from the machines.

Thanks

I need to collect my tickets on the will call kiosk... Where are they located? Are they available after the park hours? Thanks!

Why would you do that, as a non-resident? I don't live in FL so I don't qualify for those rates.

bveilleu, they are before you get to the turnstiles of the parks. I'm actually not sure if you can get to them after hours. But I believe I've read there are kiosks actually in the hotel lobbies.

I'll be staying at RPR on my first night... If someone knows for sure if there's a will call kiosk in the lobby it would be awesome! Thanks Bumbershoot

Walk past the check in counter towards the back where the concierge desk is and you will find the kiosk.
