We have a trip planned at the end of January, and a friend is meeting us. She is moving to Florida on January 1st. Does anyone know what she needs to prove residency for Florida tickets? Also, she is planning on driving We're staying in a bungalow at the Poly (YAY)and I wondering if she will have to pay for parking. We've never had a car when we've come before. While I'm asking questions, I have one more. Any special requests that anyone recommends for the bungalows? Thanks in advance!

If your FL friend is staying with you, she should get magic band to allow her to park.

She only has to pay to park if she is going to use the valet service. There is plenty of free self-parking areas.

Thanks for the replies! I'm assuming that her renters agreement will suffice as I'm not sure that she'll have a new driver license by then.

Thanks for the tip about being far away for the ferry.... I forgot about how I've seen complaints about how loud it can be.

I'm sure the all ears link provided by Debbie B will answer all your questions about proof of FL residency, MJlass11. At least in the past, a utility bill with your (friend) name and address on it would suffice if they don't have a FL DL. But if they have a utility bill they would likely already have a FL DL.

She'll have to get a FL drivers license (and surrender her current one) within that time frame anyway so this should be fine.

That's what I've told her, but she's not the most organized person in the world. I'll just have to keep harping on her lol
