Greetings Everyone: This thread has no intention of starting any discussion any specific political candidate, party, office, etc. I just wanted to share an observation that was triggered in my mind from this week's show when Pete, Kevin, and the crew were encouraging everyone to vote. I was lucky enough to be in Orlando at the end of September for a conference at the Contemporary. Because I was there by myself for the most part (DW came at the end of the week for an adult weekend), I wasn't in "vacation" mode, and I was listening to the radio, watching the president speak on TV, watching the debates, etc. Normally, I have a "news blackout" while I'm on vacation. Anyhow, I noticed there are a TON more Presidential election political ads playing in the media outlets in Florida than up here in New York. We don't really get that many ads on TV, and I don't think I've ever heard one on the radio - except for maybe some local races. I guess that's the difference between Florida being a "battleground" state vs. New York which is not really being contested. I was bombarded with ads while I was in Florida. Anyhow, just an observation...
I agree with the DIS Unplugged crew - no matter what you're political leanings
Whether a gun-totin' 2nd amendment supporter like Corey
Or a gay man from New Jersey like Pete
(just kidding ya'll, and I really have no idea (or care for that matter) what your political leanings are).
It's important to get out to vote.

Our tv and radio ads are for the statewide elections, not the national one.
