Does anyone know what the tax rate is for Florida meals?

Thanks in advance! :D

you havr to pay the standard sales tax, this varies by county any where from 6% to 8% , I think it is 7% in orange where Disney is located. Hope this helps :cool1:

The basic Florida Sales Tax (statewide) is 6.0%. Counties may, by general election, add a surcharge rate of 0.5%, 1.0% or 1.5% which may or may not have an expiration date. In Orange County, where most of WDW is, the surtax is 0.5% so the rate charged is 6.5%. In Osceola County, which includes All-Stars and WWS the surcharge is 1.0%, so the rate is 7.0%. All items for immediate consumption (meals and supermarket prepared foods) are charged the local rate.
