Florida Car Rental Taxes

You know I never really looked closely before. Did anyone ever realize that taxes and fees are about 30%? Hello??? Wow!

No Kidding!! It's actually kind of sickening! That's why I try NOT to look at that part!

Yep...seems to always amount to about 1/3 more on top of the base rate.

you mean the "grabs"..........

who gets the concession recovery fee the "rental company" or the "airport".....guess it would be the airport indirectly....since companies like alamo have to pay for "buses" coming IN and onsite have to pay for "space" to do business

at least when we get lower rates......we pay lower taxes etc....except for those fixed costs.....of tire and battery ....and licence fee

no wonder they have such a great convention center there in orange county....every time we drive by ....we think of what part of the building "we" have helped build.....

tax the tourists ....they go home after a week....=)))
