My husband and I are moving to FL in the summer but our 16 year old son will be staying in TX for school. His ID will be from TX. When I look at the information about FL APs online it only specifies how adults prove residency. We are going on a trip in January and are trying to decide what kind of ticket or AP to get our son (my DH and I already have APs). Whether or not WDW will consider him a FL resident once we move there since he is still our dependent child will determine whether we buy him an AP now or wait until we move to FL and just purchase him a regular ticket now.

We don’t ask minor children for ID. If an adult in the party is a Florida resident with ID or proof of residency, that’s sufficient.
