I can show proof of residency but I guess that's not enough, is it?

What were you going to use to show proof or residency? You can also use a voters registration card, FL military base ID, a FL college ID, FL issued ID with a FL address on it, or a FL utility bill with your name on it AND a matching photo ID.

Hi just thought I would let you know that at the age of 13, they may ask for a school ID card. My kids are now 9, 13, & 15. When we got our seasonal pass (as well as my daughter's friend -14) we showed their Middle School & High School ID cards....even for the renewals. You never know if the CM will ask.
