Hi Everyone! :flower3: Originally, I wanted to just use silk for my floral b/c I really want to keep it and be able to look fondly on it. Well, DF really wanted fresh floral. So we compromised and he and I will have fresh and everyone else will have silk. Sooooo.... now I'm looking into floral preservation and was wondering if anybody has used anyone other than Keepsake Floral. I've read a lot of iffy situations with KF around here and while I know they bend over backwards to fix any problems, I'm not sure I want to take a chance with them. So any suggestions??? I would greatly appreciate it!

Hey Theresa, :goodvibes

Good call on the silk - DF does great flowers, but doesn't do so well with silks in my opinion. I think KF did have some problems, but I think they've fixed them from what I've read as of late. There are other wedding floral preservation companies out there, but I would question how well they would do with regards to how long it would take for them to get your bouquet.:confused3

To be honest, even with my issues with Keepsake Floral and knowing (in my heart regardless of what was said) that I don't have my exact flowers in my keepsake, I still would do it again given the choice. Their work is beautiful and I truly think they create a worthwhile product.

I do agree with MegKate that if you're going to do preservation it probably is "safer" to use Keepsake simply because they are in Orlando and you won't have to ship your bouquet anywhere. (Plus they're offering a discount to WDW Brides --check out their website! :thumbsup2)

HTH! :goodvibes

I couldn't afford keepsake so I went with Suspended in time. Debra was wonderful to work with, great communication. I never once worried that my flowers wouldn't be right. She is in Apopka which is around 20 minutes from Disney but she came to pick up my flowers at the Poly after my MK shoot. My arrangement is actually the first one in her gallery. All said and done, I paid just over $300 and that included shipping.

I didn't have as many options. I sent Debra the description of my bouquet from my floral proposal and along with photos from Keepsake's website of what I wanted and asked about costs. I only chose the frame, although if I had asked about the fabric backing, I probably could have chosen that too. To be honest, I didn't think about it! All of my flowers are in there and I actually like them more than on my wedding day. Debra was very honest describing how the coloring would change when she picked them up.

If you are looking for a more basic, less expensive alternative, or even just feel more comfortable working directly with the person preserving YOUR bouquet, call Debra.

I used Keepsake Floral and they were great. I just got mine in the mail last week, and even though it was pricey, the end result is beautiful and I no issues. I will post some pics of my keepsake soon in my PJ.
