Floral Cost help

Hi

i am sure people have maybe asked this before but does anyone know how much the petals are for your guests to scatter (in paper cone) when you leave the WP. We have approx 38 guests.
Also i am having the mirror covered in the whitehall room, has anyone done this, if so how much was it?

Sorry to have to ask but have had my BEO for 3 weeks but still now floral one!!!

our petals- for guests to throw- are in chiffon bags and are $3.50 each. I actually sent an email to our floral person about petals in cones- for memory cones to hang on our 1st row- havent gotten a responce yet- but will let you know as soon as I do- if you havent gotten your stuff back!

When I talked to my floral planner she did say something about a basket of petals. I'm having the cones quoted at the minute.

I know firefly did a basket of petals and someone from Disney walked around letting people take a handful. I am not sure if we will be doing this or having small bags made and putting them on the chairs. I kind of like this and then people can keep the bags. Not sure if they will but I know if it was me I would keep the bag and a few petals to bring home with me if I was at a wedding where they did this.

I have had my BEO today and it is $3.50 for petals and $6 for the cone

I think that is a lot for the cone so i think i will go with the bags

Wow that is alot! I am making my own cones! For pennies- we are using them to hang on the chairs down the aisle!

It is an extra $6 for the cones. So am i right in thinking the $3.50 includes the petals and bag or is it $3.50 for petals and $3.50 for bag ???

My BEO states white and light pink petals in ivory chiffon bag $3.50 each-

Staged Exit:
Rose petals loose in a basket $2.50
Rose petals in chiffon bags $3.50
Petal cones, printed with ribbon accents filled with petals $7.50

I asked for the price for petals to be loose in the basket (figuring this would be the cheapest option ) I thought it would be a flat rate and not a peer person charge. If it is one dollar difference, I might change to bags. Thanks for putting the prices.

Also remember if you do a basket or cones
you can lower your guest count a bit.....

we made our own paper cones....a little double sided tape and a mickey scrap booking punch and it was done....

but also only paid for petals for 70guests instead of 100....

it was actually our planners idea…
even with the reduced number everyone had more then enough to toss
