Hi! I was just wondering if Disney do packages for floral or if its something you build up from scratch? Would anyone mind sharing their floral budget? If you'd prefer not to don't worry. My parents have been discussing budget today with us and floral is only thing i've been a bit unsure of. Any help is most appreciated. Thanks! :)

From what I understand you build your floral from scratch...during the planning session you meet your Floral Consultant and you run by her ideas, pictures, etc. and then 2-3 weeks later they send you a complete BEO.

I'm from the UK so probably won't be able to have a planning session. I'm going to Florida this September and am hoping to arrange a site visit. Do you think they will be able to run through floral costs then? Thanks

What exactly are you looking for? Bouquets, decor? I think if you have some specific ideas, than any of us who may have something similar will be able to help :goodvibes

The planning session questionnaire that was given me to me states that you can have your session over the phone and send your ideas through email.

They can't really discuss prices until 6 months out, but for a rough idea you can check the BEO thread, some brides have included their floral BEO's too.

I emailed in some of my ideas and then she sent me some pictures of things she had done already. I have a planning session at the end of the month and we'll discuss things then.

I wish they had a package to choose from for ceremony/reception decor. that would make my life so much easier.

So true, I'm printing everything I can that would be in the ceremony and reception to give to my floral consultant...a package would be a piece a cake

Hi, just to give a rough idea, I would probably be thinking of a round french bouquet for me, boutonniere for DH, my dad, best man, ring bearer, corsage for my mom and DH's mom. I was thinking of some sort of floral wand for my flower girl (she's only four and would love something like that). For the wedding pavilion i really like the look of each side of the aisle with petals going all the way down. I would like some sort of Altar arrangement (can this be used at reception too?) Does the wedding pavilion come with the 'Happily Ever After' runner going down the aisle or is that an extra? I'm not sure what to do with the tables at the reception yet.... but I quite the look of the gel cylinders for the dessert party. Don't know if anyone can give me any info about that but if you can thanks again! xx

Humm, I don't have much of the same stuff as you, but like another poster said, check some of the beo/budget threads and that should help a bit.

I think in general, boutonnieres are $12.50 a piece.

I have petals going down each side of my aisle, which is much smaller than the WP, and my original quote was $450 (I got it down to $200), but they can be quite expensive.

I beleive the DP gel cylinders are $15 each. I can't remember if that is the exact price...I decided not to go with them, so I didn't really look.

Thanks, i've just found the budget thread. :)

This is how I budgeted my "mock up BEO" (using prior Disney Brides BEO)...

Bridal Bouquet $300

MOH & Bridesmaid Bouquet: $125 ea

Groom Bout.: $13.50

Best Man & Groomsman: $12.50 ea

Arrangements for the alter: $170 ea

Scattered petals for the aisle: $150.00

Centerpieces for the reception: $70.00 ea

Rental vases: $10.00ea

Chiavari chairs: $15ea

Table linens: $39.00 ea

There's a lot more but just to give you a rough idea of what I used from BEO's I found online...

The runner you have to use an outside vendor...

I just recently got my floral BEO and I asked for a sprinkling of rose petals down the side of my isle runner and i was quoted $400. Also, you can get a plain isle runner from disney for $260.

I guess the prices when up for rose petals...that's insane...lol

Aisle runner you can get is customized for the same price elsewhere...

The price for aisle petals varies widely depending on how much coverage you want. Usually they assume you want mounds and mounds of them, which results in those $400 estimates. If you only want to spend $150, tell them you want $150 worth of petals. :thumbsup2

You can also go to this site (http://www.flyboynaturals.com/suqu.html) and see how many cups of petals = how much coverage in a square foot. Then you pick the coverage you want, multiply it by the number of feet (WP aisle dimensions have been posted here many times) and say you want that many cups.

Thanks, that's great! :thumbsup2
