Flockers, I have an update!

So I am trying to get my resort swap done, and I am working on my flocked animals for the AKL group. One of the animals I am doing is a giraffe. Last week, I knew I didn't have giraffe colors, so I went to the Stampendous website to see if they had giraffe colors. In my search, I found extra specimen jars...why?

"Use our empty jar to mix your own colors of embossing powder, glitter, and fun flock. Add glitter to embossing powder or flock for custom mixes all your own."

You can combine the colors of flock to create new colors?!?! Well, I just tried it and YOU CAN!. I mixed white and caramel latte to get the lighter/cream color, and I mixed one of the browns and yellows to create the color for the spots.

I haven't completed a piece yet, but I'm sure it is gonna work out great!

That's great to know. I just got a 12 pack of flock, I only had white before, but now I can mix my own custom colors.

So I was inspired by your thread to finally try the flock I had purchased awhile back. I used SCAL to cut out Sully from Monsters Inc., and here is what I did with him.

Thanks! That was a whole lot of flocking to do! He is 6" x 5 1/2".
