Floaty Boats and Things That Go Bang?

Has anyone ever brought one of those little floaty boat things that have leg holes for the baby to sit in, so you can zoom them around in the ocean? Obviously these wouldn't be allowed in the pools, but since she isn't allowed in the pool anyway, that isn't an issue. We just thought it might be fun for her at Castaway Cay and Grand Cayman while we are at the beach. I'm assuming there isn?t a law prohibiting these things?

Okay, my curious husband has never gotten up the nerve to ask this question at the Captain's Q & A in three cruises, so I told him that I would ask here and see if anyone knew. Is there some sort of "police officer" like person on the ship, and does this person carry a weapon? Don't worry he isn't planning anything bad! He was just curious as to what sort of protection they had should someone go a little crazy while out to sea. Is there a temporary jail or holding cell for someone that does something wrong?

I've used the little floaty boaty thing in the ocean with my daughter before (when she was that age of course!). Just make sure you hold on to her.

IF I remember correctly, there was a thread awhile back that talked about security. I believe there is a place where they put you, but I don't remember. HOpefully someone else will have more information, but not first hand info.

Two people used those floaty boats while on our Captian marvins excursion and I saw a bunch of little swim rings (the kind you blow up) at castaway cay (they might even sell them there?) so I am sure that they are not a problem.

As for security I do believe there is a "brig" on the ship. And I am sure there are security officers-they just blend in like they do in the parks.

There is definately security on the ship. We had a person across the hall from us cause quite a disturbance (theatened to kill his companion onboard) and a child was involved as well. We had to call security and they were there in 30 seconds. Don't recall if they carried weapons or not, though.
