Can you use "arm floaties" or inner tubes for kids at the pools at OKW? AllEars says you can use them for free compliments of Hanks Rent N' Return. Since AE is always reliable I'm not sure why I feel the need to double check, but I guess I really want to make sure so we know whether or not to pack them. We'll be there almost 2 weeks, so we'll have lots of pool time, and if we have to carry my niece around in the water, that will be less fun for her (and for us).

Thanks!

Just got back from OKW they have lifejackets & noodles for free @ hanks. you just need to leave your room key there.

Thanks. Does anyone else know about if they have the floaties for a toddler's arms or if OKW allows guests to use those in the pools?

The life vests will fit a toddler. We brought our own "floaties" for our son. And if they have the vests on, they are allowed to go down the slide if you are waiting at the bottom for them. Our tiny 4 y.o. did it, and just loved it.

the life jackets fit my 2yr old very well. They have them sized by weight. I didn't let him down the big slide alone but he did well in the pool and it was a huge weight off my mind.

We were at OKW 3 weeks ago. I took our own arm bands/swimmies. We confirmed with lifeguard that we could use them before we got them on and into the pool. Don't forget a few sand toys.

To the best of my knowledge they do not provide them - they only have Coast Guard approved life vests and swimmies are not Coast Guard approved (in fact many swimming facilities will not even allow their use).

As swimmies are pretty easy to pack, I would bring them if that is your preferred swim aid. We have on rare occasion been unable to obtain the proper size swim vest, either because the resort was out of a particular size (we have always been able to get one within a day or two though) or the child was at the very bottom of the larger vest size range yet too big for the smaller vest.

If you do request a vest, ask to keep it for length of stay. This way you know you will have one for each day and it saves the extra time and effort to obtain and return the vest each pool visit.

Great tip! :thumbsup2 Thanks!!!
