Looking for a great option for pizza delivery on our next trip. I saw Flippers Pizza show up while doing a search with Google. How does this pizza compare to Via Napoli? My hubby isn't fond of Italian foods so I can never manage an ADR at Via Napoli. I'm thinking of getting a pizza delivered one night for myself! TIA

We are going to be there in a couple of weeks and I was hoping to try Flippers. There are several locations. Which one were you looking at. I've seen different reviews for different locations. We have a timeshare at Westgate Vacation Villas so I was looking at going to the one in Old Town.

The closest location is at Crossroads..its not bad.
Nothing like Via Napoli which is authentic Italia pizza. We are an Italian family and Via Napoli is the only one we find is close to the mark so Flippers is good for pizza but not close to Via Napoli's...enjoyable all the same though.

I'm not too sure on which location. Do all of the locations deliver to WDW? Or just a certain one?

Thanks for the response! I really want to try Via Napoli and it is definitely my first choice. If I could ever talk him into going there I would be set. He fell in love with Coral Reef on our last trip which is making it even harder to get him to go to Via.

We get Flippers a lot. A lot. It's decent pizza for a delivery place. Yo can call any Flippers and tell them where you are and ask for which location delivers to your place. You can also email them and ask before you leave. Flippers is our tried and true pizza delivery place at Disney World.

Thank you! I can't wait to try it out. It sounds like it is a pretty good choice for pizza!

I have seen lots of great comments about Flippers on these boards over the last year, so when we were there for over a week this summer (most of it at Beach Club), we got delivery and had a nice relaxing meal out by the pool. Two families, and all eight of us agreed that we'd do it again in a heartbeat. As discussed above, I too would prefer Via Napoli, but unfortunately there's no real delivery or take-out option from there, so Flippers was a great alternative.

Thanks for the reply! Via Napoli should make pizzas to-go. I bet a lot of people would love that! I could possibly try their pizza if they offered that option. Flippers seems like a solid choice, but didn't know about them until I googled pizza. I'm excited to give it a try. I also plan on eating my pizza in a lounge chair by the pool...hopefully with a sangria!

I love flippers!! We ordered it last trip. It's quite good for a delivery place. It has a nice thin-ish crust. I'd recommend it to anyone.

We received one of these flyers under our door on our last trip in August at CBR. Of course I threw it out. But I hope nobody fell for this trick. I feel bad for those that do. Its definitely good to spread the word.

Thank you so much for this information.

I will be at Disney three nights pre cruise December 26 and wanted to order a pie on our first day for my dd and me to have for lunch for 1-2 days while there. I am from NY and really lived Via Napoli in Epcot in September but we will only be doing MK and will be calling Flippers.

Thanks so much!

Flippers is not good pizza. It is edible and better than the WDW pizza but not by much.

Forget Flippers...GIORDANO'S is the stuff of my dreams!

Is Giordano's Chicago style? I looked them up and it says the pizzas are deep dish Chicago style. I prefer thin crust, but the picture looked pretty good.

Yes, but I think you can get regular crust too (thought the Chicago style is what draws us there.)

Giordano's is a Chicago area pizza that happens to have a few locations around WDW. In recent years, the quality has dropped some, so they are not quite the gold standard (a top 3 joint in Chicago) they used to be, but it's still better than what I can get at home. We always eat Giordano's once per trip.

I have ordered the thin crust for DS, and was impressed with it. (Same quality ingredients on a thinner crust). It's not the same thing as a New York style, but it was enjoyable.
