I LOVE Teva but tried on the new Teva Mush II at Shoe Carnival, and they are a lot narrower. I was going to buy Teva Mush Original from Amazon, but many reviews there say they aren't the same as they used to be.

Need some flip flops that are just as comfie but for same price (around $25). Any recommendations? I used to be able to wear my Teva Mush Original Wedges to the parks all day and still be comfortable. Why do companies change a good thing???

I agree, the new ones are just not the same! I wish they would bring back the old style. That being said try Reefs. They are more like the old style (a little wider) and still have good arch support. They are about the same price and I have worn them all over the park!

A few weeks ago I bought some Yoga Mat flip flops from Sanuk at Downtown Disney at Disneyland. Lasted me 2 days there, loooooove them! They were $38 there but are $30 on Amazon.

Thank you! The Yellow Box ones look very similar to the Teva, but I also like the looks of the Yoga Mat ones and some of the Reef ones. There are Yoga Mat ones at Dillards.com for $29.99 so may look for a coupon. We have an REI here now so may go look there for Reef to try on.

Thank you!

I have all different styles of Yellow Box and use them all at Disney. I will say, if you have wide feet like me, get a 1/2 size up - helps with afternoon swelling!

I just returned from a week at Disney and I wore Skechers Reggae Rasta flip flops the whole while, they were so comfortable. I will never wear tennis shoes to the park in the heat again. I got the tip from the disney tips forum. I got mine from Amazon for $28.

I LOVE the reggae rasta! I have 4 pairs (each a diff. color) best flip flop ever:)

I work at a surf shop, and sanuks are selling like hot cakes- so I decided to try them. $25 at my store (without my discount) and I fell in love. Bought their sneakers too. Comfy, well fitting, and not at all uncomfortable. (I hate when flip flops rub between the toes)

The Yoga mat ones?

I have kind of an addiction to "high end" comfy flip flops. I have 4 pairs of the old school Teva Mush, 3 pairs of the Mush II, 3 pairs of Reefs (Sandys) and some Sanuk yoga mat flip flops. I also have a pair of the new Teva Original Mush, and I agree something seems different about them.

I love my Reefs and Tevas, even the new, more narrow kind. The Sanuks are comfy but if your feet sweat or get wet, they start sliding around. Not sure how they'd be for a full day of walking...

I wore Reefs every day last trip. Loved them. No issues at all and we tour commando style. Walking all day and closing down the parks after evening emh.

Flojos!! I can't remember the name of them but they are egg crate, pink/grey. Very comfortable! I wear them all day, every day in Disney.

I agree. I love my Sanuks but the first day I wore them in the parks I got a wicked case of shin splints after walking all day and I was icing and limping for a few days after. If you have any issues with your feet I wouldn't suggest them for all day walking.

Reef - have worn the same pair for 3 WDW and 1 DLR trips  Mine are a discontinued model but the salespeople that I have asked said that the Sandy is the closest to mine.

Last surf shop I went to (in Puerto Rico) told me mine are the holy grail of Reef flips. I ask in every surf/beach shop I go to (and that has been a lot of them!) about my style but no go  Don't understand why companies change their "formula" when people love them so much!

I tried the Tevas but they fit so narrow, I was wondering why so many people love them. Then I read that this is the new style - they went right back. Right now I have some Flojos that look nice and are comfy but I would not try them all day in the parks.

Have you tried FitFlops? I wore mine on alternate days with my Reefs on the DLR trip and they are super comfortable. I also have a pair of Birkenstocks but not sure how everyone thinks they are comfortable. I've been trying to break them in for about 3 weeks now :crazy2:

Crocs Athens Flip Flop.

I like supportive sandals from The Walking Store in the parks, but one time I wore sneakers that gave me blisters and I went to the Crocs outlet in Orlando and got the Athens. Worked great to give my feet a break for a half day in the park or just going out for dinner in the evening. I wear them all the time in the summer now too.

DD17 also switched from Teva Mush to Reef. I buy them via Amazon, often
two pair in a bundle.
