Flip flops on rides?

My daughter and I both very often wear flip flops to the parks and we are definitely all day park goers. On rides like Forbidden Journey for instance, when we're worried about our shoes falling off we also take them off and sit on them as mentioned by several others. It has never been a problem. and our feet don't hurt any more or less after wearing flip flops all day vs. good tennis shoes for instance. It is all a matter of personal preference and comfort and weighing the pros and cons of this shoe vs. that. If we know we don't plan to go on water rides, or don't think it will rain then we all wear comfortable tennies. But there are plenty of times when we also wear our flip flops to Universal or Disney from 8am to midnight. If you are comfortable in your flip flops don't let others frighten you into not wearing them and as for rides where they may fall off, just tuck them under your thighs and enjoy!!! There is always a moment on Forbidden Journey after we are all harnessed in that either my daughter or I will realize 'OH NO MY FLIP FLOPS' and we have to try to get our leg up high enough and lean over (not easy in the shoulder harness) and get our shoes off and under us before Hermione whisks us off!! Have a great time on your trip!

MY DD lost a flipflop on RRR when she was 12. Just depends on how tall you are, I think.

We won't wear flip flops all day, but for an evening in the park, they can be a nice break from tennies. I am a Sketchers Go Walks gal, but my Teva
mush or Oulakai flip flops are a nice break for a few hours.
