Someone please tell me I'll be able to wear flip flops in November! :flower3:
We'll be there 11/11-11/17. While I've read different accounts of the weather during this time and that I should pack with layers in mind, and possibly even winter coats :scared1:, I'm really hoping the majority of opinions will be that it's nice enough to wear flip flops (and shorts).

I don't see why not ?

Like you already know, Novemeber could be a mixed bag of weather, cooler/cold in the morning and evenings, warmer/nice mid-day.

My advice, dress in layers. Wear a tank or regular shirt under a long-sleeved, or wear a long sleeved and a jacket

We always go in November, usually the first week though. I ALWAYS wear flip flops, but I do pack the sneakers just in case. I have not broken them out even though the rest of my family does. I will, and have, wore a coat but refuse to wear the sneaks! :rotfl:

We've gone a few time during the time you are questioning. My DD always wears flip flops. Last time we were there Nov 5 - 14, the first 2-3 days were VERY cold. We wore zip up sweat shirts and jeans and were still chilly often. But the rest of the week flip flops, shorts, swimming. We are from the New England area, so 60 seems warm to us in Nov.
Get a pedi and bring sneakers just in case. ;)

in november i wear flops during the day... and uggs at night :rotfl:

that's how crazy the weather changes.

I wear flippers 99.9% of the time living here. In November I have not had to break out tennis shows due to weather, but the weather is SO unpredictable.

Once in early December I did end up buying a pair of socks and Disney crocs because come late in the night waiting for the parade my toes were about to freeze off.

I would recommend bringing one pair just in case but for the most part you should be able to wear flip flops the whole time. :thumbsup2

Absolutely! We were there for our first November trip last year and wore flip flops. :thumbsup2

Thanks everyone! Just ordered some new flip flops for me and DH!
Now, how to get a Mickey/Minnie pedi and convince DD to get one too without her getting suspicious?? :rolleyes1

I always wear my regular sneakers on the plane trip, but wear my flip flops at the parks. I've gone twice in early November (and going again this November) and wear my flip flops at the parks. I only wear Nike flip flops. I find them more comfortable than wearing sneakers all day at the parks.

At Epcot in Japan, there is a gift shop that sells really cute socks you wear with flip flops. The socks have the big toe separate from the other toes. So, if your feet get really cold, and you are in Epcot, keep those socks in mind! lol.

HTH

You'll be fine that early in November. It's really nice and springlike weather then.

We go Thanksgiving every year, and I always wear flip flops all week - day and night. But I am also someone that will wear jeans, sweaters and flip flops when there is snow on the ground. I hate when my feet are hot.

I'll be with the group wearing the flip flops:cool1:

It will pretty much have to be freezing or snow for me to have anything but (unless my feet are saying 'running shoes', sometimes I alternate). Enjoy the free feeling for your toes:banana:

HA! Sounds like me! Yup, I also wear flip flops until the evening in November, and then my uggs or tennis shoes come out.

We were there for Thanksgiving week last year and I wore flip flops the whole time. The weather was gorgeous and my toesies were comfy. I did have sneakers and crocs along, just in case....
