When booking our trips to the US, I've always found the flights to be the most problem, when looking for bargains.
Unfortunately, we always go in school holidays (usually the beginning of the summer), and I was wondering, if everyone could give advise on where they book their flights - to get the best deal.
When I hear of people getting Virgin flights at about £300, it amazes me! When we usually go, their flights usually cost well over £800!! This makes a massive difference on a family of 4!
If anyone has any tips, on the best time to book, or some reasonable websites, please let us know.
Thanks
Tracy

Are you a member of the Virgin Flying Club? If you are, you can book money plus points flights that will save you a couple of hundred quid per flight.

Last December we managed to get flight just a few days before the School holiday prices came into force and save over £300 per person!

My friend books her flights to Florida every year with just 2-3 weeks to go. The last couple of years it has cost about £250 per person.

I'm more obsessive that I need to know when I am going and where I am staying unlike her.
