Ah, the eternal question...

We're off to WDW in October and money+miles flights on Virgin are currently £417 return.

I understand Virgin sometimes has a sale in May. If they (or any other airline for that matter) did, does anyone know whether October flights would be any less than they are now?

Thank you!

No way to tell. It is anyone's guess what the airlines and fares are doing this year so even going on what happened in previous years seems a little unreliable at the moment.

What I can say, from someone who booked last year for this October, is that £417 with VA direct to MCO looks like an absolute bargain. I am no expert though so please wait for a second opinion. :goodvibes

We paid £390 each for our miles and money October flights last month as previously they'd been £500. No way to tell if there'll be a sale or if your dates will be included. I'd say if you're happy with that price then book. We went in Nov last year and bought seats in the sale at £340 each but we could have purchased them prior to the sale at the same price using miles and money, so you may not get them any cheaper in the sale, if it happens, anyway.
Hope that helps.

I'd book those flight tickets now at that price

The cheapest I saw virgin flights in the jan sales was £400 return so I would book them at that price as there isn't much difference in price.

We just paid £406 for flights with miles and money from man in December, flights from lgw were at £350.

Just looked at 26th Oct for 2 weeks, hardly any M&M available from London, none at all from Manch with cheapest full price almost £600pp. London are better prices.
Always possible prices will drop but at £417 I would have it booked already.

I booked my M&M flights in Nov 09 for Oct 10 trip - they were £141 return then and I have watched them constantly - not seem then get any cheaper then what we paid. I would book them for sure!

I know! I was so annoyed at her getting those flights at that price that I couldn't even bring myself to respond, lol!

:rotfl2: And here we all want everyone (including ourselves) to believe that we are genuinely happy when someone else gets a great deal :rotfl2: I was actually annoyed to think that those prices are out there somewhere and I've never seen them!
