Flights of Wonder question

I think that 20-30 minutes is plenty of time, they may even have a CM with one of the birds in the front prior to the show giving some educational information in advance of the show. One of the best shows in WDW in my opinion, but I'm a bird "mom" so I very much appreciate the message of the show. Enjoy!
As mentioned, try to get there about 15 minutes early, so you can see the pre-show. A zookeeper is often outside the entrance with a Eurasian eagle owl.

And be sure to have a dollar bill handy in your pocket. You might be picked for a fun audience interaction. Unless, like Robo, you have FOB (otherwise known as "fear of birds")!

I try to sit under a tree.
(Birds hate trees.)

Well played sir!

Guano Joe . . . Focus People. My son and I say that to each other constantly, and then laugh, and then think about Disney hahaha.

Honestly, I think it is a fantastic show. Two years ago, it started down-pouring just as the show we were watching ended. CM's announced that we could stay in the theater during the storm if we wanted to. The storm let up basically just in time for the next performance, and we wound up just sitting there and watching the show again. I enjoy this show nearly as much as Festival of the Lion King, which I think is the best show in all of the parks.

As for when to show up, I would say 10 to 15 minutes before the show should be just fine.

We were walking by right before the show started in December and there was plenty of seating. My son (5) LOVED this show. We will definitely be doing it again during our trip in May.

OOO FOW is one of my favorites! We've never arrived more than 10 min before the show stats and have always had a good luck getting a seat!

If you enjoy participating, try to sit somewhere in the center section and be ready with a dollar bill in your hand. (No, I'm not going to tell you why. But I wouldn't advise making it a $10 or a $20.)
Totally fun!!! You have to be fast with that buck though!
It's a "must do" every single trip for us!

My husband and I see this show every trip since we discovered it years ago. As for where to sit, we, um, well, we've seen the show many times and I can say the right side of the bleachers about four rows from the top is, um, a good place to sit. That's all I will say for a first timer. Except to look to the right twice during the show for a view many will not see.

We've seen this show many times- LOVE IT- but never from the seats you mentioned. If you don't mind letting me in on it...what do you see from there? If you're worrried about a spoiler, you can send it in a pm. We're not going back till October and the suspense will be killing me lol. Plus my kids always want to try to be picked for the dollar bill so I won't be able to get them to sit that far back without a good reason.

Was just at the show today and he's there. A couple of years ago, he was there and he looked like he lost a lot of weight. I'm guessing he was sick because he looks healthy today!
