Flights in the spring

A group of friends are taking a non-disney trip to Florida in the Spring. We will be flying in Orlando. Any advice on when the fares will be cheapest? We are looking at times between Feb. and May.

Those can be pricey times. I was heading to WDW in May, but the 'cheaper' airlines hadn't come out with their fares yet. I had to move my trip...was going to go with April, but the legacy carriers were way too expensive, which meant JB and SW weren't going to be any bargains. So, I changed to mid-Jan...got decent fares. But, once you get into Feb you are looking at vacation time, which leads to high fares. They 'may' be a bit cheaper in March, but you have spring breaks starting up, then spring vacations. So, the fares tend to be high between Feb and May. Keep your eyes open and keep checking the airlines to see what fares they are offering. When you see one you can live with, book it.
