Hi

Just been looking at flights for May and the cheapest I can find is around £400. Because we're not taking kids we can fly via somewhere else. In the past this has saved about £100. However at the mo non direct flights save about £10. :confused3 Are flights just a lot higher this year or am I missing something? It's 2 years since I've been. I want a cheap(ish) trip in May for two of us - what's the best way to get this right now? I can norm get cheaper disney accom but I also normally book flights months before.

Any advice from the experts? :worship:

Thank you :)

If you can get direct flights for £400 then I would book them, you might possibly save going indirect but its probably not going to be much.
In the last 2 years we have had flight tax rises which have increased all flight prices, plus airlines going bankrupt, TCD & Flyglobespan mean less seats available, again rise in prices. £400 direct is abiout as good as it gets now, I am looking for August £953 for Virgin economy:scared1:

BTW - can you get three adults in a disney room without two sharing a bed? Ie, can you get a rollaway bed?

Will leave that to someone else that knows more about onsite hotels.:goodvibes

If you wanted seperate beds you would probably have to book a deluxe resort, nearly all of them have days beds, how comfortable they are for a fully grown adult,i dont know.AK has rooms with bunk beds, that could be an option,or how about Fort Wilderness where you sleep in lodges, that would have plenty of room for three. It all depends on your budget! The cheaper hotels eg POP and Allstars only have two doubles.Though i have heard of people taking along a blow up single bed and squeezing it in.But you would have to deflate it every day (sounds like a bit of a headache to me).

They do have rollaways - last I heard they were around $15 a night (that was a few years ago). They don't look very comfortable for an adult TBH.

The Values & mods (except Coronado Springs which has queens as standard) have double beds.

Also depending how you book Disney charges extra for having a 3rd adult in the room.

Yeah, I knew about the extra adult charge but there's only 3 of us so not worth booking two rooms. We're on a tight budget. Think we'll have to squish in to a small room - but we're only there to sleep, so it'll be fine :-) Thanks for the info

There is currently a sale on Virgin Atlantic for May Orlando flights. Been watching the PE seats since they were released last year. The the majority of the time (apart from one freakish hour where they dropped to £850), they have been a steady £937/£947 for mid-May. Currently, they are £808/£818.

I would assume that because Virgin have their sale, so do British Airways, and probably a few others, just to compete with each other. BA and VA sales normally follow within days of the other, if not at the same time.
