Flights from Vancouver - CRAZY EXPENSIVE!

Our family is heading to Disney World in September and we are having a really hard time finding reasonable flight prices. Normally when we go in September, we pay about $360 Canadian but right now they are over $600 for anything with reasonable times.
We've always booked our flights in the Spring but now we are trying to hold out and see if the prices go down at all. I've read in multiple places that booking a flight within North America 60 days out is the ideal time for a good deal. Anyone else waited that long to book a flight? I'm getting nervous that we just aren't going to budge.
Also we've checked out prices to Tampa and from Seattle and there isn't much difference.

What about the prices for the less convenient times? Or being a little flexible with your dates? Or driving to another airport?

What about flights from Seattle? Lots of folks in Ontario drive to Buffalo for their flights.

I think it is getting harder to find those cheap long distance flights.

We're paying 900-1000 per person RT to Europe, so I can sympathize

We've checked those out too. The best we can do is a flight from here to Tampa. It's a direct flight so it may be worth the hassle
