i'm planning a trip to wdw for easter '07 either departing weds or thurs before easter and returning easter monday...i'm waiting for 2007 packages to be released before i do anything....but i was looking at flights and i found some to be around $217/$263 RT for this time...i also saw $482...this is from JFK to MCO...i was just wondering what those who travel around that time usually pay. thanks

My experience with Easter week travel is to buy as soon as you find a price you can live with. Prices during this time period do not go down. I am looking for the end of April and I am blown away by the prices. I guess I'll wait for now. Good-Luck and keep looking everyday.

chriserbell...I bought 11 tickets from JFK to MCO months ago and paid $271 RT on Delta. We leave Good Friday and come home the Sat after Easter.

My advice is bu now. Our flights have only gone up. Right now the exact flight is over $600 because the non-stop flight coming home is almost sold out.

If you're seeing $217 out of JFK for easter week, book it. We went last year for the week leading into easter and paid $165 but that was before the price of oil skyrocketed. Now, if I can get a $217 fare out of the NY area (we prefer Newark but I'll go to JFK or LGA if needed) I grab it. Especially for that week.

Is this Delta or JetBlue? JetBlue will give you a credit if the price drops so if you think you'll be purchasing tickets for a later trip anywhere next year, you can apply it. Not sure if Delta does anything if the price drops.
