Flight Upgrades with TCD...

We' re going to be an extra £129 to upgrade to Sunshine Upper on our TCD flights next year. But this cabin only has about 34 seats and whilst reading the website there is also a £20 fee to pay to prebook your family to all sit together - it isnt guaranteed because others families will be prebooking to sit together. Sunshine upper is 3 seats aisle 3 seats and there is 5 of us going.

We can split into groups of 3 and then 2 but according to the website, they cant even guarantee that.

Do you really think we will need to pay an additional £20 on top of our upgrade just so we can sit together?

we upgraded to sunshine first and we sat together, we were told we didnt need to pay extra to sit together

i guess the problem is that if everyone else pre books then you won't be together.We have worried about this but since there are only 2 of us we are just going to get there for open of check in.
I think if i was in a larger party i would definately book
