Flight time after cruise

First cruise here- What time is safe to book a flight out of Orlando after the cruise? Don't want to cut it too close but also don't want to be waiting around any longer than I need to.

I would follow DCL's wriiten suggestions for flight times. I believe they suggest no earlier than 11:30am for departures out of MCO. Please correct me if that's off.

We did an 11:50am flight out of MCO after our Fantasy cruise. We ate late breakfast in the MDR, took the DCL bus back, & had plenty of airport time. We have TSA Pre-Check, but that wasn't necessary for us to be on time.

I think @Shanti means "no earlier than 11:30am for departures out of MCO." And yes, that's what DCL recommends.

If you might want to use the Onboard Airline Check-in program, they stick to that time and not a minute earlier. That said, if the ship docks on time and has no delay getting cleared, with no traffic delays and no big lines at MCO security - it is quite possible to make an earlier flight. All depends on your comfort level. I prefer not to rush my last morning of vacation.

I made our flight for 2:00pm. I don't need any stress returning to the real world after our cruise. I imagine it will be tough enough going home.

There is a nonstop flight at 12:45 that would save us a good bit over the next one at 3:05 so I think I'll go with that. Thanks for all of your replies!!
