Flight Suggestions?

I'm guessing if they live near Dulles they don't want to battle traffic to get to BWI. I hated that drive when I lived out that way.

I've driven it and frankly for the prices and better flight options, I'd deal with the drive. It's not that bad IMO. It is much easier flying in/out of BWI than Dulles IMHO. Much easier airport to deal with navigate. To each his/her own though.

Why are you so against BWI??

I get great prices on SW from BWI on nonstops. BWI is a SW hub so they have LOTS of flights daily.

Partially traffic. Due to the times we tend to fly, we'd be running face first into rush hour through DC. And to be honest, every time I've flown out of BWI it's turned into a fiasco. TSA issues, parking issues, luggage issues, the whole nine yards.

My only real complaint about Dulles is they're really, REALLY bad at signage. It's way too easy to get turned around in there
