Flight Release Date Q

Hi all

I know flights are released 11 months out, but just wondering, does that include a round trip or just the flight on the way out?

If I was wanting a VA flight for 10 Sept returning on 24 Sept (2014), when could I start looking?

You need to look 330 days from your return date for flights with VA.

I know I booked a package deals so think fights on own is different I already booked for September 2014, with va was given times of fights when booking but that may change still.

Packages have different release schedules and flights are sold on a pre-release basis which means they are subject to change.

Packages are a no go for us as a family of 6 I think (flight cost ends up excessive) so we are looking at DIY!

I booked my flights with flythomascook, 363 days from departure We rang VA up and they gave us a price for fly drive and it would have cost us a lot more, they are only flights but even looking at prices for car hire it's still about £200 cheaper to book this way
