I know I saw this somewhere but I'm clearly not Googling the right thing and hope you can help out -
where can I find the on time % for a certain flight? I'm looking at Southwest if that makes a difference.

Why am I asking? we have a late in the day flight that connects through BWI and my husband is telling me that I shouldn't make plans for RD the next day because we're probably going to get into MCO very late. The flight is supposed to land at 8:45pm.

We fly out of Albany NY on Southwest but always a direct flight, however my husband often checks the evening flights that fly through BWI and they are often late but mostly under twenty minutes. I have to agree with your husband though, even if you get into MCO on time. It will take time to either rent a car or take the Disney bus, I think the earliest you would arrive at your hotel would be after 10:00. That is a best case since I don't know how you are getting to Disney or what hotel you will be staying at. I hope that helped:)

Two places I use.

First, on the Southwest web site, go in as if you are booking the flight again. When the list of flights comes up, click on the hyperlink that is that flight number. It will pop up a window that has a summary of the on-time performance of that flight.

Second, http://www.flightstats.com/

I've travel Southwest a lot and due to business schedules I am often on the "last flight" of the day to somewhere. Southwest will often hold for connecting passengers the last flight of the day for a route. I've got to say, I hate that when I'm sitting on the plane and just want to get where I'm trying to get, and, I absolutely love that when I'm one of the late connecting passengers and would otherwise spend part of the next day trying to get to my destination.

Good luck!

We fly out of Hartford and we have always used Southwest non stop but these tickets with the 1 stop were $40 cheaper - across 5 people that is a nice savings. I still have a hope that there will be a sale and I'll be able to snag a flight that is non stop!
We are staying at the Polynesian Villas and will be using Magical Express. I had planned 90 minutes from gate to check in. I saved some texts I received from our trip in March of 2015 so I could remember how long it took and over Easter Week to BC it took 90 minutes.
The kids are 12 & 13 so they will be fine with the late night and since we'll have just finished school they are used to getting up at 6:15AM everyday. My thought is as long as MK doesn't open at 8AM or have a 7AM EMH we'll be fine for a 9AM RD if we can get to our room by 11PM.
Thanks!

Thank you! I knew it was on the Southwest site somewhere! That is exactly what I was looking for.
I frequently have to take the last flight out of MSP for work and I fly Delta. That is never a fun flight home - Minneapolis to O'Hare to Hartford. LOTS of room for weather and flight issues. My experience with Delta would be the opposite of what you had with Southwest!

Flightaware.com will show the on time of a flight. it will also should over the course of the last week what time the plane landed. Type in Southwest and the flight number. Scroll down and you will see a grid of all the arrival times for that flight.

Or when you go to book the flight just click on the flight number it will show the on time %

Something I have noticed about Southwest is that even when they leave late they almost always arrive on time or early. I have been watching our flight number out of ALB to MCO nonstop for a couple of months now and even when they depart ten minutes late they arrive up to 30 min. early so I figure they have built in a little extra time so that they can say that there on time percentage is near 100 %. Not a bad thing just an observation.

I noticed this on Google today. Not sure if it's always been there or not
I entered the times of our upcoming flights and it works good for recent flight history

I've noticed the same thing. We fly out of Atlanta and they are typically on time but every so often they'll be a few minutes late and they land early.
