Flight numbers keep changing

Hey all,

I'm not a frequent flyer and have never flown to Disney so I'm unsure about this...

Our flight numbers keep changing however, the times are still the same. Do I need to let Disney know? Of course this is the one thing I can't change online for whatever reason.

Same thing is happening to me for our Nov trip. I call each time and update the flight number for Magical Express.

It probably won't matter but you can certainly notify them if it will give yourself peace of mind. I wouldn't call them until a few weeks before your trip - incase they change again.

Airport to resort it doesn't matter.

Resort to airport just wait.

Unless you're on southwest (where it's not an issue), make sure you're checking your seat assignments with each change!!!

The flight to Orlando; no, no need to notify Disney. Just keep an eye on your seats if you selected them. A flight number change usually means they changed the type of plane, so your seat selection was likely reset.

Your return flight from Orlando; yes, you need to let Disney know so they can properly schedule your Magical Express departure.

So the OP's thread title and first thought I had is they must be flying American. Used to fly them all the time and they loved to change flight numbers and times. Hadn't used them for years, been on SW or JB but booked a December trip with them and sure enough last week got an e-mail saying flight numbers and times had changed.

Ugh, American is killing me this trip. So far, they've changed our flights and times twice. On each occasion, I've called because the times were awful (think of two kids under the age of five leaving late afternoon, laying over for two hours, then getting back in a plane, landing at midnight, waking up, driving home, getting back to bed, etc).

On both occasions, the customer service reps figured out that our flight numbers had changed. So the computer, in its infinite wisdom, just booked us on a different flight instead of simply changing the flight numbers.

Nope, Delta! :) They've changed it twice since I first posted this, once being today and for the first time our flights times have changed. It worked in our favor though because it gave us an extra 25 minutes for a previously short layover.

The major airlines frequently update schedules monthly. Always a good idea to check on it yourself since you might not get an email.
