Flight for Easter 2011 from Scotland

Hi

I have booking the cruise for my special birthday...

Unfortunately the flight from Scotland - harder to look for good prices for 8 April to 24 April...

I have been searching and only one best is continential flight...

I have been in Thomson and same again it is continential... flight as they said that the airline have straight from Edinburgh to Orlando but again still expensive.. no deposit need to pay full

I look on line and it is cheaper to book myself or go to Thomson to book for us?

I am still thinking and is anyone know which airline suitable?

as I look at virgin as it is very expensive same as BA...

Should I book on line with continential?

Have you looked at Thomas Cook flights? I don't know what they have for next year, but someone at work has just booked for July this year with them to Orlando and paid £400 per adult, which for this time of the year is not bad. Easter is usually cheaper than summer holidays with flights, although direct from Scotland is always a challenge -and if you want direct to MCO VA is your only option. This year we didn't go at Easter and are trying October instead. For the first time I actually managed to get a direct flight from Glasgow with VA, but it was part of a package so I can't really give you any relevant info on price guidelines or what you may be looking at. I will tell you that last Easter it was cheaper to fly with BMI to Manchester, overnight at the Radisson SAS and fly from Manchester with VA than what we paid this year to fly direct from Glasgow. Have you googled Edinburgh departures? You won't get direct, but it gives you more choice and sometimes you find better deals from one airport than from another.

I suspect you'll be much more likely to get a better deal on-line than at the travel agents. Don't just stick to the airline websites though - use the search sites such as www.kayak.co.uk, expedia or opodo. They search numerous airlines once you enter your travel details.

A couple of points worth remembering:

1. If you just book flights with an airline you will need to pay upfront in full
2. Continental don't fly to direct Orlando from Edinburgh. You need to change in New York.

I have search with kayak.com and visit travel agent and same have to pay full price..

I try on line with continental seem best for us but travel agent Thomson said have straight flight from Edinburgh to Orlando with Continental more 200 pounds...

I think I might do on line to book it with Continental but I wait ...
