Would an 11:20 am flight be too risky? The next flight isn't until 3:45 and I don't want to sit around the airport for hours.

Do you have TSA precheck? I think that makes a big difference in timing at MCO. I was there on Thursday evening and walked right through security vs the standby line of 30 min+.

How are you getting back to MCO, Disney transfer?

Others can share tips on the exact timing and strategies of your debarkation, luggage, etc.

Doable certainly--but also risky. A late debarkation, traffic problems en route to the airport could cause trouble. Not to mention the TSA three-ring circus at MCO.

We do not have TSA pre check and are taking the Disney transfers.

I have made an 1123 flight BUT I have tsa precheck, I used a town car service for transportation and I went to cabanas for breakfast. I am thinking of using Disney transportation for my next earlyish flight

Well, it's too close for me. I prefer flights after 12:00. The later flight will allow you to get off the ship (a little) later, and with MCO you can't always tell what the story is going to be at TSA. I've been there when it's taken us 1 1/2 hours to get through. And times where it's taken 10 minutes.

Personally, I'd go with the 3:45 flight.

I personally would not want to risk missing the flight for reasons mentioned earlier. Go with 3:45 I did it once, sure sitting in airport wasn't good but at least I didn't miss my flight.

As mentioned it is doable, thousands make it all the time. However it is right at the limit and there are lots of thing that can go wrong.

1. The vessel could be late getting in.
2. US Customs/ USCG took hold up disembarking.
3. There could be construction or traffic delays or a accident delay.
4. Bus break down
5. TSA could be backed up.

We usually go to Disney Springs and have lunch and wonder a bit.

What ever you do.Enjoy your cruise.

I was under the impression that DCL would not do transportation for folks with a flight departure earlier than 12 noon?

You cannot do on board checkin if your flight is 11:29 or earlier. But no restrictions on the transportation.
