Flight changed to the next day- what now?

A friend is flying to Cancun tomorrow. She just got an email from Continental saying that her 7pm flight is now Saturday morning. They won't get to the their hotel until after 3 now.

Is there anything that she can do?

Is it a weather delay? If so, those happen, and there's not much anyone can do about the weather.

It it is not a weather delay, maybe it's a mechanical delay. If that's the case, maybe your your friend can see if they can get her on a different (earlier) flight.

I second the calling, we had that happen once with JetBlue and the time that they moved us too, was not at all good for traveling with little kids and there were more than nice to work with us.
