UGH!!! Happened to check my AirTran flights on line only to find that my return flight has been moved up 1.5 HOURS! Which now means we have to leave Disney 1.5 hours EARLY!

The originaly schedule for our departure day (11/25) was to check out of the Poly, have them hold our bags, we have a 9am ADR for 1900 Park Fare, because I want to see the GF decorated, then head over to MK to see everything fully decorated, then be back at the Poly by 4:15pm for our 6:20 flight. Now, we'd have to be back at the Poly by 2:45pm the LATEST.

Our ADR is for 9am, I'm presuming we'd be done by 10am, giving us approx 4 hours to get in our last fill of the MK before we have to head out. By giving up the ADR we could get in an extra hour or so of park time.

So would you keep the ADR or cancel it to be at rope drop on the Sat after T-day?

What do you have planned on Friday? The MK will be fully decorated then. Perhaps you could take some time on Fri. to see the MK, leave when it gets really crowded and then only have part of it to see on Sat. before you leave so that you can keep your breakfast AR. Just a thought.

I would schedule a little more than an hour at 1900 park considering that it is a character meal and that there may be a wait to be seated. It would probably be safe to schedule an hour and a half to 2 hours depending on how busy the restaurant is. Try to do Mk on a different day but I don't think you should cancel. I heard this is a nice restaurant.

I would keep the ADR just in case you are worn out. We are always tired our last day and usually dont do more than an ADR for breakfast or lunch before going to the airport.

You can always cancel the night before if you decide you want more time at the park.

Friday is our Epcot day and we have ADRs at Coral Reef with the Candlelight Processional. I have the full day allocated for Epcot but we will have been there at least once or twice for a few hours each time, so as long as we get there by 3pm on Friday we'll be fine.

I never thought about that. Not sure I want to give up 2hrs though for breakfast on our last day. I was planning on arriving early in case they can get us in early.

That's what I'm concerned about...being worn out from the past 8 days of "vacation." I wasn't planning on doing many/if any rides that Saturday. Just walking up Main Street, taking in all the decorations, doing some last minute shopping, and getting my last dew minutes of MAGIC in before we leave. We probably won't be back for a few years, so I want to soak it all in.

Amy - I went to their website, and put in my dates like I was going to purchase tickets, and I realized that my return flight was now at 5pm and not at 6:30pm which is what it was when I bought the tickets.

I called AirTran and they told me it was a change due to Flight Control. It is also the last flight out of Orlando into Westchester, NY that night, so we are on it no matter what time it leaves.

If your reason to go to the GF was to check out the decorations and not so much the meal, can you do it on your way back to the Poly, after the MK on your last day? Of course you'd be skipping 1900PF, but you wouldn't have to make the time committment of the character meal (I had no idea they could take up 2 hours of our time!).

Or maybe you could go to the GF before the park, and grab something quick for breakfast at the GF (they do have a place to grab a quick breaky, don't they?), see the gingerbread and decorations and head into the MK.

I really just wanted to see GF, and thought it would be a nice last day breakfast. This was going to be our only character meal, and we really aren't going for the characters, I heard the breakfast buffet was great. I wanted to do something different for breakfast, besides the normal eat on the run we'll be doing for the prior 7 days.

I'm going to have to wait this one out I think. When I spoke to the airlines, the told me the flights could still change. We'll also have to see how much we see in the MK for the week we are there.

Thanks for your help , sorry about all of the confusion with your flights...
I cant really help with your ADR question, I'm a newbie myself !! LOL :confused3
Anway ...despite everything I hope you have a MAGICAL trip !!! :wizard:

Which site, with decorations, do you desire to see more expectantly: WDW with Christmas decorations or GF? Both are beautiful and your current plan lets you see both of them. I wouldn't forego GF to see MK. You should have plenty of time to do both.

If you are using ME they will pick you up at 2 PM for a 5 Pm flight. That doesn't give you much time at MK especially since you need to figure in travel time back to your Hotel for ME. Or did I miss something?

We have a town car, so they'll pick us up at 3 for our 5pm flight.

We always do 1900 Park Fare the last day of our trip for breakfast -- I would go for the 8am time though and then you are on the first rotation of characters and on to the park in no time.

We have 9am ADRs, so if we keep this, we'll head over around 8ish, walk around to see all the deocrations, check in around 8:30 and hope for the best.
