Our flight was canceled, none going out all day, so we are arriving tomorrow at 3:35pm. I called yesterday to find out the balance on our room and he came up with a figure almost $300 more than my reservation sheet
He said they had us down for a woodsview and that is the price with AP discount. I said I have the paperwork right in front of me, I had switched from woods to standard when an AP room in that category became available. Well, he called guest services and they said we had been comped to a woodsview and the price would reflect when we arrived. Okay, not confident, but okay. Now we are arriving a day later and I called. They got it all taken care of and said we would still be in a woods view at the AP rate. Can I trust this verbal assurance or is this going to be another nightmare like last night with the airlines trying to book a new flight. Thanks
