Does 2 hours give me enough time, or could I even do 12:30p for lunch reservations, giving me 1 1/2 hours.

We arrive into SNA at 11am. Will need to check our bags with the front desk, get our S. Cal City Passes (do we get those at guest services or just print them on our computer and bring printout to the gate?), and head into DL.

We want to do Carnation Cafe first thing, as we will be HUNGRY!!

That seems to be cutting it a little bit close. Always take into account traffic, slow people in line in front of you and any other unexpected delays.

Like 1:30p?? I think CC Closes at 2pm, so I want to make sure we can get there.

If nothing else though, we can do Thunder Ranch BBQ on arrival day and CC on Wednesday.

Just trying to pre-plan a few things - 90 days out is next month and I am trying to organize a bit more.

Edited to add that we are flying into SNA and staying at Ramada Maingate - just to get a sense of location.

How are you getting from SNA to your hotel - shuttle or taxi?

We did the trip by taxi last month and it took maybe 20 minutes, a little more perhaps and we stayed off site at the Sheraton Park. We had a lot of luggage, got our hotel room and headed straight to disney to get our tickets. I had already printed our vouchers and I went right to the ticket windows to show ID and get our passes. I would say that you would need at least 1.5 hours more if you are taking a shuttle that only picks up at the airport at certain times.

Go with plan B. You never know about flight delays and a possible accident. The traffic for that time of day isn't bad, but you can't count on no accidents. Also, having to rush and stress on your arrival day isn't what I like to do.

Yes my family always seems to arrive midday and ravenous for lunch when we fly down to Dland. Not sure where you are staying so maybe this won't help you much, but we typically stay on-site and so plan that first lunch to be at the hotel at a restaurant you don't need a res to get into. The valets take your luggage right at the front curb anyway so no need to stand in line for check in at the front desk if everyone is starved. Instead we head over to Storytellers Cafe or Whitewater Snacks (if Staying at GCH) or to Tangaroa Terrace or Trader Sam's (if staying at DLH). Then toward end of lunch while my husband and kids are finishing up and paying the bill, I head back to check in desk and get our room key.
