Heya guys!

So, we're looking at booking tomorrow! Eeeeek!

We're doing 11 nights at the Yacht Club (five person room, water view) with dining plan (upgrading to deluxe) and then six nights at a private villa.

But, I'm really unsure what to do about flights. I think these are our options...

- Book a package with Disney, including flights (direct flights = BA or Virgin from Manchester).
- Book a package with Virgin if we want to fly Virgin (boo hiss, they're much more expensive that what we've been quoted elsewhere - £10,282!!).
- Book a package with Thomson if we want to fly Thomson - I like this idea, as Thomson flights are cheaper, but we couldn't book flights until the end of the month, and they've said we have to book it all at the same time.

Or...

No packages. We book Disney with Disney and then do flight only. This is what I really really want to do, as I know it'll come out less than £10k!!! Thomson have said they would expect flights to be around £2500-3600 depending on whether we want to fly Economy or Premium. Virgin said £2900-6000 depending on Economy or Premium!

But, it seems like a massive risk, not knowing how much the flights will actually be until they are released in September. Also, it's a huge amount of money to have to save upfront!

Does anyone know if you're able to pay a deposit on flights? I know I've read that Thomson in store will accept a deposit, but has anyone done this recently?

Sorry for the essay! I'm trying to make a decision before tomorrow :(

Thanks and hugs in advance for this one!

You will be lucky to find a package that's cheaper than booking it separately.
Just wait until the flights come out. There are hundreds of flights each day to Orlando.

Just book seperately and keep watching for flights. Have you contacted Disney about flight deals? What did they quote you? Also, consider flying into another airport and getting a connecting flight.

Disney can't do flight inclusive, as we're not staying with them the entire period :(

Other wise, that would be ideal!

Just spoke to Virgin who have said they'll take a deposit if we do FlyDrive but that's £4200 :(

Bah humbug.

American Specialist - my friend booked her virgin flights last April 2011 to travel this summer 20th Aug/Sept 2012.
She only paid £100 pp deposit and the total balance didnt have to paid until May 2012 so loads of time to pay balance, then booked Disney seperatly through UK site.
